Baltimore Bridal Show?

http://baltimorebridalshow.com/Are they worth going to? I have never been to one and didn't know if its worth the time? Is anyone else going?

I went to a bridal show with my friend while she was planning her wedding (didn't go to any during my own planning process).  The good things about them include being able to taste lots of different bakers and caterers at one time and limit your options down based on that (can save you some time).  I remembered a baker there that I loved and wound up using him for my wedding.  Negatives - they can be crowded and you might have to wait for awhile to speak to some vendors if they are popular.  It can be overwhelming to speak to person after person.  I think that if you are early in your planning process and you have a lot of vendors yet to hire, a show can be a worthwhile way to spend an afternoon.  If you already have most of your vendors booked, I wouldn't go.  JMO!

I went to the one at Timonium and loved it, and went to the one at the Convention Center downtown and hated it.  I think it's the one you mention.  The good thing about this one (the one with the link you mentioned) is that if you are a certain number, you get a year or Modern Bride magazine for free!! Went in January, just started getting them.  I also agree with Kimbrout, very crowded and hard to talk to people, but helpful if early planning stages.

I'm actually going to that one this weekend, but like you, have never been to one before so didn't really know what to expect!  I think we're just gonna go for the fun of it and to look around. We already have our caterer and baker but nothing else is set in stone so I'm hoping to at least get some ideas on other things while I'm there.Have fun!

I went to the winter one and got some vendor information, I think I ended up picking 2 vendors who I met at the show, but 1 of them is also highly recommended on here so I probably would've found him anyway.  However the negatives are that it is reeeeeally crowded, and I've been bombarded with junk mail & email ever since.  IMO, the biggest draw is the cake samples, everything else you can find on here or weddingwire.
