Reception Venue: Tabrizi's Restaurant

Hi All! I am in the process of deciding on my ceremony/reception venue, and I think I've found the one: Tabrizi's Restaurant at the Harborveiw Marina.  But since there are very minimal reviews on the restaurant as a wedding venue (there are plenty of reviews of their food), I thought I'd ask here if anyone has had their wedding there and could let me know how it went.Much thanks!

mandyjulie had her RD there and said it was great.  She is on her HM now though, but she may be able to tell you how they handle events.

We are also having our RD there and I'm thrilled. I've booked private parties with them before (involving logistics of dinner, dancing, music, etc.) and I think they were great to work with. Good luck!

Thanks for the feedback! That's great to hear.  It's such a beautiful location and they seem very nice there. So I guess my first decision has been made regarding my wedding, yay! One down...how many more to go...?

I would only warn that we've been trying to set up a date with them and when we went to finalize costs we walked out with a lot of new costs that before had either been quoted as cheaper or were non-existent the first time I asked.  I'm not sure we will end up using them mainly because I'm not so sure I feel I can trust them anymore.

alex1liz,Thanks for the reply! It was very timely. We just went for a second visit and to show my parents the place, and had the same exact experience you've had. Everything he had told us the first time changed and the price went way up from the original one he quoted. It's a big problem for us since we are on a budget. It's a shame because it really is a beautiful spot, but I too left feeling uneasy... Back to the hunt I guess...
