    I don't think it's appropriate to read over their toasts beforehand. You will just have to trust that they will keep it under control in front of your family. Maybe you could mention to them in passing that you hope they remember that your great aunt Jane will be in the crowd, so please no stories about that time you got wasted in Mexico and slept with someone random.

    I was worried about this before my wedding, too. DH's brother is known for joking in a crass way, and my MOH was just not a very confident public speaker. But I didn't say anything and both of their speeches were heartfelt and sweet. My MOH had all the bridesmaids look over her speech to make sure it was alright.I think people realize that it's an important day and not the time for certain things.
