You are NOT the only one.  I haven't ready any of them and honestly, I don't plan on it.  AND...I haven't ready any of the Harry Potter books either.  I'm definitely in the minority.

I read Twilight on my HM, and came home and read the next 3 in the series. They are quick entertaining reads, but they are definitely young adult fiction. Nothing too in depth. The Harry Potter books are really not even in the same category. The story lines in the HP series are so much more complicated and its just on a whole other level. I wish I had counted the number of times I've read/listened to the HP books. The numbers would be staggering :)

I'd like to read the Harry Potters too...I just haven't had the time lately to sit down with anything! I ordered the sookie stackhouse Southern Vampire series and they came in the mail today, and I'm excited to get started on them...looks like I have something to read on my flight to Vegas!

A friend gave me Twilight.  And I also want to read the Sookie books, but I'm afraid if I do all this while watching Sookie on TV, I'm going to get all my books and vampires confused.  So I am going to wait until the last episode for the season is over.  Read the Twilights and then probably the Sookie...yup, that's my plan.  Probably didn't need to spell it out.  But with 32 days to go, I'm in the business of making plans and lots of lists.  I can't help that is has trickled to all aspects of life.

I agree with SarahKate, Twilight is totally YA fiction, and it's not too deep and can be unintentionally funny at times. Even though Harry Potter is intended for younger readers, it's far more in-depth and well written! There are a lot of other great YA series that don't get the attention Twilight does, such as The Mortal Instruments series, and The Mysterious Benedict Society, which is frickin' fabulous!
