invitation question

if you are listing the names of those invited with a check box for "will attend" on the response card how do you list "and guests"? anyone have a sample I could look at? I was considering just writing "guest"with a line next to it for the guest's name to be written on. make sense?

I did reply postcards and put a line next to guest so they could fill in their name, I also included menu options.  Below is an example of what it looked like: Normal 0 MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 st1\:*{behavior:url(#ieooui) } /* Style Definitions */ table.MsoNormalTable {mso-style-name:"Table Normal"; mso-tstyle-rowband-size:0; mso-tstyle-colband-size:0; mso-style-noshow:yes; mso-style-parent:""; mso-padding-alt:0in 5.4pt 0in 5.4pt; mso-para-margin:0in; mso-para-margin-bottom:.0001pt; mso-pagination:widow-orphan; font-size:10.0pt; font-family:"Times New Roman"; mso-fareast-font-family:"Times New Roman";}   The favor of a reply is requested on or before  September 17, 2009   John Smith   will attend___ will not attend___             Chicken Oscar ____    Steak Balmoral ___ Guest____________   will attend___ will not attend___             Chicken Oscar ____    Steak Balmoral ___

I don't have an example for you, but I think some kind of a blank line for them to fill in would be appropriate. You could either leave it blank, write "guest", or do the whole "M" thing that you generally see on rsvps. I used "Name" instead of the "M" you could do that too.
