OOT bags

We are going to have a decent number of people spending the night at the hotel; however, only about 5 rooms will be for true OOT people. The rest are just for our friends and family that don't want to drive home. So do we make these bags for everyone staying at the hotel? Or just the OOT people? Or is it ok not to do these at all? I just don't know what to include since the typical local stuff isn't really applicable here.

It is perfectly okay not to do OOT bags.  They're a nice perk, but by no means necessary.  If you do happen to decide to do them, I would think that you'd have to put them together for everyone staying at the hotel.  Most of our hotel guests are still from the area but it's going to put more of a burden on the hotel staff to pick and choose who to give them to rather than just everyone in the room block.

You certainly don't have to have them. No one will be the wiser if they're not there.  But, if you do want to do them, maybe you could just do something really simple like a late night snack...something for them to eat after partying like chips, cookies, water, etc.

We are having the same "issue." So I have one set of bags for the true out of town people and then another for those staying at the hotel because they do not want to drive home.

I'm not doing them at all, and I'm perfectly comfortable with that decision. :)
