Home Depot Registry

Did anyone register for Home Depot? My FI already has a lot of tools and things but we could use a new lawn mower and weeder. Is it kind of ridiculous to register for these things? I appreciate your honesty :)

We registered at Lowes and I think it is a fantastic idea to register at a hardware/homeware type store. That said...Lowes has discontinued their registry. And we originally tried to register at Home Depot, but they discontinued their online registry and the employees in the store had *no clue* how to set up the in store registry. They gave us a piece of paper and a pen to write down SKU numbers - no scanners. And then they never entered the numbers, so we went to Lowes. It's a great idea, but those stores couldn't get it together to make it work. If you need tools, etc I recommend registering at Sears!!

Both Lowes and Home Depot have discontinued their registry program.I think registering for tools is a great idea!!  We did it.  We registered for his stuff at amazon.com.  They really have everything.Sears also has a nice tool dept.
