Hey girls - My wedding isn't until 12/31, but thought I would post this now. I have not had a good experience with this hotel AT ALL.
We had limited options since our wedding is on NYE, and many of the downtown hotels either had their own parties going on, or were charging really high prices for the rooms. We went with the Holiday Inn because the rooms are only $89/night and they said they had a free shuttle to go back and forth from the reception to the hotel.
Well...turns out the free shuttle only holds 14 people. That would be a LOT of trips for a 250 person wedding. We ended up booking additional transportation for the guests.
I have also had multiple people tell me they had issues when trying to book their room. My aunt just emailed me to tell me they told her she needed a 3 digit code to book a room...what?! Also, our room is free, but we were told we had to book it through a sales agent, since they were comping the room. We called our sales agent three times and never received a call back. We finally demanded to speak to management and they were able to get our room booked.
I know not everyone has the same experiences with vendors, but thought I would give you a heads up!
