Maryland Wine Festival

Good morning ladies... We are going to the Maryland wine festival for my Bachelorette party and I was just wondering if anyone had gone or if you had any suggestions of must taste wines? TIA

Some of Boordy's Icons of Maryland wines are pretty good.Fiore Vidal Blanc and Maryland Merlot are both nice dry wines.  If you like sweet wines, L'Ombra and High Heel Slipper.

if you like red wine also chocolate, try the Linganore Steeplechase Red with a piece of chocolate.  It's divine.I went to a wine festival last year where they had Hershey's kisses to hand out with the sample of that wine and it was REALLY good.

If you are not a huge fan of wine the St. Michaels wines are mixed with fruit juices so they are not so strong and are good.  You always see long lines there. I am a fan of Linganore also, Steeple Chase and Mountain White.

Thanks ladies. I'm just starting to like wine so I'm excited to go to be able to taste a variety. I really like Boordy's Riesling and their Blush. Thanks for the suggestions!

In that case, skip the Fiore Maryland Merlot and try one of the others I listed.  It's more of a dry red wines with "character" so if you like Riesling and Blush it probably woudln't be your taste.
