vent - BM dresses

So I drove an hour to pick up the BM dresses and shoes over the weekend and guess what? We ordered tea length and they were full floor length! AND at least two of the sizes were a full size too big! Like it falls to the floor when the girls tried them on. And both girls argued with the lady taking the measurements saying that they thought the size was way too big back in May when we ordered the dresses. I'm really upset now. The wedding is in less than 6 weeks and these dresses are going to need a ton of work. And who's going to pay for all these alterations? I guess I'm stuck with the floor length gowns but so far they are all too big and I still need to get 4 of the girls to try on theirs.

That is frustrating!! But at least they are *longer* than expected and not *shorter*. They'd probably need to be hemmed anyway, so hopefully that won't cause too much of a problem for alterations. But if they are also too big...Do you know if they signed anything okaying the sizes when they were ordered? One of my BM's dress was ordered 3 sizes too big, but we didn't really have any recourse since we didn't okay the sizes beforehand. But hopefully with only one size too big, it will be no problem for a seamstress. GL!

I agree with SK. Better too long then too short!!! I am sure they will still look great.
