gown shopping!

 Went to Robinson's & Gamberdells - found great dresses @ each place... anyone buy from them... the mood was so different in each store! Pros/cons would be helpful!

I bought my gown at Gamberdella's and I was very pleased with their services.  My dress came in before the date they quoted me and the alterations fees are some of the best I've heard.  GL!

I really liked both stores.  My BM dresses are from Betsy Robinson and all of the girls liked dealing with them.  Their timing and everything was perfect.I got my dress from Gamberdella's and while I've been very pleased with them, it took 8.5 months to get my dress in.  Ever since, their service has been outstanding the woman that does alterations there is amazing.  She's a little tough to handle at first, but lightened up after a while.  She's just looking out for the best interest of the dress (and how you look in it).  I honestly haven't heard a bad thing about either place.

I got my dress at Gamberdella's as well. I have nothing but excellent things to say about them! I do have cons about Betsy Robinson's. I did not go there looking for my gown because my SIL got hers and all her BM's dresses there several years ago. They were extremely rude to all of us. Not to mention I was the smallest BM and ordered a 2...the rest of the girls ordered either a 10 or 12 (there were 6 of us). When the dresses came in my dress was a 12 and the other 5 were 0 or 2's! This was three weeks before the wedding! And then they accused of us of giving the wrong sizes! Are you kidding me??? I could see someone saying an 8 when they are really a 10, but a 2 or 0??? So I just steered far away from them!
