Hi everyone. My wedding was this past Saturday and everything was amazing. We had such wonderful weather and all of our guests keep raving about everything. We don't leave for our honeymoon till September so I actually have time to do this now. I didn't post much on this board, however the vendor reviews were extremely helpful, so here are mine.
Wedding Plantation Bridal Gown B I bought my dress here after falling in love with it. The dress was designed by Eden Bridals. I enjoyed my experience when trying on dresses and they even through in my veil for free. My major problem with them was that I ordered my dress in August and it was supposed to come in during December but I didn't get it until March. It wasn't the time that bothered me, it was that they kept telling me it was on the next shipment when it obviously wasn't.
Alterations A-
I used Helen there for my alterations since she had previously worked on my dress before. All the alterations were amazing especially the hem and the bustle, the only drawback was she had a pretty heavy accent so it was hard to understand her at points.
Tuxes (Jim’s Formal Wear located in Wedding Plantation) A
We had absolutely no problem with our tuxes. We ordered five tuxes and they all came in on Tuesday and all of them fit perfectly. The tuxes we ordered were actually from the same catalog as the one we saw at JoS A. Bank and about 15 dollars cheaper a piece.
David's Bridal Bridal Gown A-
My only complaint was that when I went in for my appointment, my consultant either was helping another girl or sitting down on a chair, so my bridesmaids kept finding dresses for me to try on and helping me try them on.
Bridesmaid Dresses A All of my bridesmaid dresses came in without any problems 2 weeks after the girls ordered them.
Charles Penzone/Dublin (Hair) A+
My bridesmaids, my mom and I all got our hair done the morning of the wedding. All of our hair looked amazing and held up during the day. We were in and out within an hour so I was pretty impressed. My hair stylist Ashley did an amazing job and was able to make corrections from my trial to make sure my hair stayed up for the whole wedding day.
Q Nail Salon/Graceland (Nails) A
I made reservations for nine and they were able to accomodate all of us. They only have six pedicure spots so some of the girls had to wait a little bit, but we were there for a maximum of two hours. My nails looked great, I only did a french manicure and pedicure except I wish I would have spent extra on the new UV treatment (that is supposed to make them last two weeks) because my nails started chipping on Sunday.
