Providing Own Alcohol

Hey girls -One of the caterers that we are looking at suggested to us as a way to save i providing our own alcohol and they wold still provided bar set etc.I am trying to compare what there cost per person is to what I can expect to spend on my own.We are looking at a full open bar at mid-high brands.  We will have 75-100 people. Any one have any info on what they have spent for something similar? Or some sort of average prices and quantities? Thanks!

I got a price of about $1400 for about 140-150 guests for bottled beer 4 types 3 wine choices and 7 types of liquor.  We can return anything as long as the label isn't damaged.  It is alll a matter of what they are offering so make sure you get an estimate similar to what they are offering.

I paid 1,200 for 125 people for 4 types of beer, 3 types of wine, and a variety of liquor that I chose. And even had a bunch left over. At less than $10 pp it is definately a cheaper alternative than paying 20-30 pp through a caterer, plus you can keep/return left overs.
