Invitations

What are you doing about invitations? Does anyone know where I can get invitations for a reasonable price?

We like the idea of the pocket folds, but feel like they'll be so expensive to have done professionally, that we'll probably buy the invitation kits from either Michaels or Target, and print them up ourselves.

It depends on how much you want to spend on them. I personally wanted to do them myself because I wanted specific colors and envelopes. You should look at invites in catalogs and online to get an idea of you like. Target, Michaels and Staples all have DIY kits.

I agree with the DIY route.  You can buy graphic clips from Etsy for fairly cheap, or search the net for free clips and use them to design your own really easily in MS Word.  I lucked out and found a template from another knottie's bio.  Then I ordered card stock from http://paperandmore.com for pretty cheap.  Our invites cost under $0.50 each, not including postage.

I second Vista Print. Although I haven't done mine yet, I use VP at work for all of our printing. Can't beat the quality for the prices they charge. Select the cheapest shipping option -  I think it's three weeks - and they still ship within three days.

This sounds cheap, but Ollies has the same DIY yourself Kits that I found at craftstores and Target less than half the price.
