Pier V Hotel parking

We are getting married at Pier V hotel in July and are worried about the parking situation since the harbor is such a tourist attraction during the summer. This only became apparent to us when we went down this summer to show my parents and the parking lot was full as well as the garage. If you had your wedding there, or know someone that did what do you suggest to do for the parking? Were there issues with your guests being able to park? We plan on picking up the parking tab, but are more concerned with the guests not having any where to park.

Do they have valet parking available? Also, there are plenty of parking garages downtown in the Inner Harbor, check in to those.

I would contact the person in charge of events at the hotel, and ask them how they have handled this situation in the past.  Unfortunately I have had issues with multiple garages being full downtown, so it's a legitimate concern.  If the event coordinator tells you that you're on your own, perhaps you could organize some kind of rendezvous point (maybe at a Park 'n Ride) and have a shuttle bring your guests to the hotel?

How many cars are you worried about?  If you have guests flying in, you could encourage them not to rent cars but arrange for pick-up and drop-off (your hotel may even have a free shuttle) to reduce the number.  You can tell local guests that there may be an issue with parking and try to organize carpooling, etc.

The Pier V garage is ALWAYS full! Especially if there's a concert at Pier 6. See if any garages in the area can do parking vouchers for your guests. They can pay upwards of $30 to park in that area during events.

Little Italy Garage is only $3/day on the weekends.  It is about 5 blocks away, so maybe you could arrange a shuttle.  The only thing is that it is smaller than most garages, so will probably fill.
