I am trying to help a friend find an affordable photographer in the Baltimore area.  Any reccomendations would be great!

    I highly recommend Monica Ridgely.  She just did mine last week and was wonderful to work with.  I haven't seen my pictures yet, my our engagement pictures were great.  www.MonicaRidgely.com

    I've had a several recommendations from friends. These are three within my budget ($2,000-$2,500) who I'll be calling as soon as I get my date and site finalized:

    Also don't forget the vendor listings here on the Knot as well as WPJA.com.

    We are using Perskie.  Our second choice was Jenni at Forever Yesterday.  She did our e-pics and they turned out great.  Both do great work, our deciding factor was that we got a little more out of the perskie package.

    Both are in your price range.

    What's your budget? Jen Lowe is fabulous!  I loved working with her - see my bio for pics and a full review. She is a truly talented and such a wonderful person to be around. 

     Other board favorites are Jenni from Forever Yesterday, Mandi White, Matt Fuller from Tender Images.

    I used Exclamation Imagery based out of DC.  With her package you get 8 hours of photography, up to 3 locations, two photographers, and the rights to all your pictuers, among other things.  I know her rates are somewhere between 1500-2000 now.  She also recently posted on her facebook site that one of the weddings she photographed is being featured in an upcomng issue of TheKnot magazine.

    I love Meghan at Meghan Lynn Photography.  I did b-pics with her and she was so great.  And DH loved the pics.  I would also recommend Renee Michelle Photography - we used her for our wedding.  She was fabulous and I am so in love with the pictures.
