DJ recommendations?

Hi!
I just got engaged 2 weeks ago (yay!) and I am totally 100% new to all of this, especially when it comes to budget! I am wondering if anyone can recommend a good, non-cheesy DJ at a reasonable price?

    Congratulations and welcome!  We are using C & J Entertainment.  They've been super easy to work with and reasonably priced.

    Congrats!  We are using Absolute Entertainment.  I'm pretty sure they have a DJ for all budgets.

    Congrats!  We are using David Orlando from Orlando Entertainment.  My sister used him for her wedding and he was awesome and definitely reasonably priced!

    Congrats and welcome to the boards!

    We used Jason Wallace at Absolute Entertainment.  Like PP said, Absolute Entertainment has a wide variety of DJs, at all different price ranges.  I haven't heard a bad thing about any of the their DJs.  We LOVED Jason.

    We were *not* very happy with our DJ from ABsolute Entertainment.  And a friend of ours had a very bad experience with another one.  I just would recommend, if you are interested in going with them, hear YOUR DJ.  They gave us a great intro to the company, we booked and paid a higher amount than a lot of companies, and did not get the quality of service.  I have heard there are some great DJ's-we just didn't get one.

    Congrats on your engagement!
    I using Tom Gavin's DJ Delights for our wedding next month. So far things have been good, the rates are reasonable and Tom has been great to work with. I have read one bad review about a DJ but I am making sure not to have him.

    We are using MusicMasters for our wedding next month.  Dan Hawkins is awesome...and his DJs have great reviews.  I was recently at a wedding with Jason Walace, and he was great! 
    Dr. Googs is married to Mr. Pelvis. Happily ever after!
