Tender Images

FI and I are meeting with Matt from Tender Images tomorrow to talk about him possibly doing the photography for our wedding.  I was just wondering what others think about his work, and if there are any specific questions that I should ask him?  TIA!

bmore09bride used him for her wedding in September and had so many good things to say about him and his work.

I honestly can't think of any negative reviews I've heard about him.

awesome thanks!  I really want to use Jen Lowe, but there is no way I can afford her at this point in time.  I remembered hearing good things about Matt, so I figured I'd start from there.

Matt is really sweet.  We looked into him, but didn't actually meet with him.  I had a lot of-e-mails back and forth with him, and he's just a really sweet guy.  MereFM used him, and I know she was happy with him day-of, but she's waiting on her pics to give the final reviews.  I think Matt takes great pictures, though!  Everyone that uses him seems to love him.

Our photog is Jenni Combs with Forever-Yesterday, and she's pretty economical, too, her website is www.forever-yesterday.com.

Renee Michele takes beautiful pictures, and so does Exclamation Imagery (?) who Tree used.  And I believe they are all pretty economical as well  My best friend is using Tara Hope, who she found on craigslist.  She's got great prices too, and beautiful work (but I've never heard her mentioned on this board, so thought I'd give a plug-in).  Her site is www.tarahopephotography.com

GL on the photog search!  Once we chose our photog was when FI and I started getting really excited about the wedding.

I loved Laura (Exclamation Imagery), and her prices were very comparable to Matt back when I booked her, but I know she has raised them a bit since then.  You should probably email her to find out what her rates currently are and see if they work with your budget.

I also met with Matt from Tender Images.  Ended up going with Jen Lowe in the end but I really liked Matt and his prices were pretty unbeatable.

I didn't end up meeting with Laura from Exclamation Imagery, but we corresponded over email a bit and her current prices are pretty much on target with Matt.  This was only about 2 months ago.  I think you'll be set with either of them - all of the pics I've seen have been wonderful!! Good luck!

We met with Matt last night and we both really liked him.  I think we are going to book him!

I just got my photos back yesterday and I love them!  I'm not going to share the link on here in the interest of privacy b/c our username includes our last name, but when I get the digital images hopefully in the next few weeks, I'll post several in my bio.  But I can say that we were very happy with him!

Aww awesome!  I'm very happy to hear that you really liked him.  I'm sure the pictures turned out great!  I'm getting really excited about using him now! 

He asked me how I heard of him, and I said "the girls on the knot" and he just laughed.  He said that he gets so many weddings who have heard of him through this site.
