Ceresville (Frederick) Florists

Hi all! I'm having my wedding at the Ceresville Mansion in Frederick next Oct. 1, and I'm wondering if there are any brides who have had their wedding there, or brides to be who are planning a wedding there, who have any input, advice or feedback on florists in the area. My baker had recommended To the 9's because she had worked with them before at Ceresville and said the owner is very professional. Any advice helps! Thanks!

    Hi!  My name is Tiffany and I got married at Ceresville 05/09.  I was living in Baltimore at the time, so I wound up using a florist in this area for ease of going to appointments.  I used Da Vinci Florist.

    But in my search, I loved Blossom & Basket in Mt. Arie (and I would have gone with them except for their vase options not being what I was hoping for - I wanted gold candelabras that Da Vinci had).  My friend used them for her Myersville wedding and the flowers were perfect.  I was also really impressed with their pricing and their wedding person was completely personable. 

    I haven't heard much about To the 9s but you can always check weddingwire.com for reviews from other brides.  I found that website so helpful with planning.  Let me know if you need anything else!  Happy planning :)

    Hi,

    I was married last October in Frederick.  I received lots of advice and ideas from the knotties, one which was for a florist.  Kimbrout, suggested to me Blossoms and Baskets in Mt. Airy.  I met with Rene, the owner and I was extremely pleased with the flowers and prices!  Rene worked with me on my budget, and all had the flowers delivered to two different locations the day of the wedding. I would highly reccommend them.

    Thanks I will definitely check out Blossom and Basket. To the 9s seems to be a favorite on weddingwire. I've been living on there. I get nervous when vendors aren't rated. Thanks for your help!

    Anybody have any other suggestions than To the 9's and Blossom and Basket? Unfortunately Blossom and Basket only sees people on Tuesdays and Thursdays and FI and I can't get up there in the middle of the week. **harumph**
