I have heard very good thing things about them from the girls here and they have great reviews on weddingwire. Personally when I met with them, I thought the food was bordering terrible...

Maybe it was just whoever was cooking that day, I have no clue, but I was not impressed.

We are actually using them for our October wedding and we were very impressed! I mean, it wasn't the most delicious meal I've ever had but it was really good especially for the price! And everytime we call for any questions the staff are all so nice and super helpful.  I'd highly recommend them; you're not going to get that sort of deal w/any other caterer from what I could find. Especially if you're wanting to do an open bar.

We looked at HVC; the food was good. There seemed to be a miscommunication though with who I was corresponding with and who actually handled our taste testing. I'm a vegan and requested to have a vegan pasta at the testing. I was served the same thing as my FI (major carnivore!). Then after looking at the reviews on WeddingBee, I felt that was just a sign of things to come. So we didn't book with them. I do know that their prices are just about the best around Bmore; we decided we'd rather pay more with a caterer with better reviews and have peace of mind that everything would go well on our big day.

I'm actually in a wedding on Saturday where this vendor is providing the food...if you still are looking by then, I will be more than happy to post a review of them based on my experience...GL!

I went for a tasting. Food was excellent. Prices are about $20.00 cheaper per plate then most others plus open bar is only $5.00 additional. We hired them for a February 2012 wedding.
