boutonierre??

Is anyone not having their guys wear boutonierres?  I'm not a huge fan of how they look, but my florist, as great as she is, is acting like I'm crazy for not liking them.  My flowers are gerberas, whch I especially don't like as boutonierres.  I'm guessing my only other option is a pocket square?  What do you guys think?

My florist wanted us to use them as well, but we didn't.  The guys wore pocket squares instead because that's what DH wanted.

The boutonnieres don't have to be the same as the rest of the flowers if you do have them.  There are also some neat non-floral ones on etsy.

i felt EXACTLY the same way that you did about boutonnieres.  i wanted something different than flowers and couldn't find anything online that was quite what i wanted.....so i made them myself!  i'm going to start selling them soon on etsy so if you're interested maybe we could chat and i could mock something up for you?  we had a loosely bird themed wedding so i did them with feathers, crystals, and a few other items.  hope this helps!
