DJ/Disc Jockey in the Baltimore/MD area

Hello fellow planners,

Does anyone know of any good and affordable DJs in the Maryland area? We had a friend of ours in mind for the job, but they are unavailable the date of our wedding. It's a Saturday evening wedding and we're on a budget, like most people it looks like.

I'm using DJ Derek Romanoff. He did my sister's wedding and he's won Bride's Choice Award on Wedding Wire the last two years.

Thank you for suggesting DJ Derek, it looks like he's received raving reviews, but he might be more expensive than what we were hoping. I like his testimonials though.

We used Jason Wallace at Absolute Entertainment.  He wasn't terribly inexpensive, but they have a wide array of DJs to choose from.  And the company as a whole is fantastic.

I have not heard anything good about the Pros, so I would advise against using The Pros.

I would strongly suggest Mydeejay.  I am having Evan (the owner) as mine and he has been extremely helpful and easy to work with.  They also have quite a few other dj's that work for him as well. There website is www.mydeejay.com

I would suggest DJ Dublee (William Lee). He is very reasonably priced and has a great selection of music.

He also does live streams so that you can hear some of his mixes.

I ditto the pp who suggested mydeejay. We used Michael Bell, and that guy is awesome! Very helpful with regards to music suggestions and coming up with a timeline, and worked with us when we changed up our first dance song last minute (we didn't change the actual song, just wanted it shortened!).

I am using DJ Delights.  The owner is Tom Gavin and I attended a wedding where they were used.  The wedding was great and they really kept the party moving.  They are pretty flexible and will help you to pick the right songs and make a timeline for your day.

I highly suggest Chris Laich.  I went to a wedding he did and everyone was on the dance floor all night, we had a ball...and I booked him for mine : )  Good Luck
