Cookies?

Does anyone know a bakery in the Baltimore area that does personalized cookies (for wedding favors)? I'm talking something like sugar cookies w/ a monogram in icing? Anyone?

This might be pricey but I'm just researching/tossing around the idea

Thanks!

I have no idea, but I really like this idea!  Is there anyone in your family that would have time to bake some cookies for the wedding and decorate them?  Could be a fun project for someone...

I don't have the business card with me so I'm going by memory, but I think it's Sugar Bakers (??) that do gorgeous wedding cakes but also do custom cookies, etc.

We baked all the sugar cookies ourselves.  We didn't have any icing or decorations on them, though.  We used my great great Aunt's recipe, it was kind of a thing to honor her.  They were all heart-shaped.  Our venue served them after dinner, since we didn't cut the cake until 11PM, on little plates, along with some chocolate truffles my mom's friend made for us.  It was a huge hit.

Thanks everyone for your help! I'll check these places out! :)

SweetCFly- So cute and personal- love it!  We may make them ourselves also. Was it tough to do during wedding week with all the other chaos? Thats the only reason I'm even looking around for someone else to do them.

    Thanks!!

I am now finding out that this is not a tradition here, but in Western PA a cookie table is a MUST.  Almost every woman clost to the bride and groom bakes a dozen cookies or so and the go on an offering table for everyone.  It never fails someone starts eating the cookies as soon as the guests come in and there are still a ton left over for people to take home.  It's a great tradition and gives people a chance to share their favorite cookies.  This might be a cheaper alternative if you have someone who can do a few monogramed cookies to mix in with other peoples cookies.
