Hey everyone,
I'm back from Mexico and ready for a wedding recap

The whole weekend was just amazing. I was actually really sad for a few days afterwards, that it was all over!
Amazingly, nothing went wrong the day of! Getting ready in the hotel went smoothly, complete with lunch and champagne and no spills! I was actually on time to the ceremony, which, if you knew me (and my sister) IRL, is surprising! The flowers were beautiful (reviews coming in the next post) and everyone looked so pretty! The ceremony flew by-I was not nervous at all, even though I couldn't sleep the night before. We had a gap before the reception, so the WP went to Sherwood Gardens in Guilford for some pictures. It was SO HOT, you may remember-probably like 85-90 degrees. We had plenty of water (and champagne and beer) in the limo but it was still crazy hot. I got hit with a sprinkler in the gardens and it was SO NICE! Everyone was like your dress, don't get it wet! And I was like omg I don't care, I'm so hot!
We also got some good pictures at the Inner Harbor and inside the Science Center before heading to the cocktail hour. I missed almost all of that, which was a bummer, but no big deal. The reception was exactly how I pictured it-the flowers, the cake, the linens-LOVED IT. We got so many compliments on everything. The food was also amazing. The reception also flew by, and I was so sad it was over. Especially since around 8:45pm (it ended at 9:30), I thought I might puke and/or pass out from the heat or whatever, and had to be taken to the air conditioned conference room for half an hour! I was so sad that I was missing things but managed to recover and enjoy the last 20 minutes.
We had an after party but DH (!) and I didn't make it-I was exhausted and hot and DH was set against going out. But my parents had a lunch the next day where we got to catch up with most of the guests.
All in all, it was just a fantastic weekend! The honeymoon was great too. We spent 3 days in DC (Georgetown, where we went on our first date) and then a week in Puerto Vallarta. It was BEAUTIFUL there! The weather was perfect-a bit of rain our first day, then sunshine, heat and humidity for the week. The resort was beautiful, although we did have some problems with our AC and had to move rooms (but then I got a comped hot stone massage and manicure so I'm not complaining!). It was so relaxing, but we did go off the resort a few times-snorkeling, going downtown, etc. Our flight home got canceled so we got to spend an extra night in PV, courtesy of Continental airlines, which was kind of fun!
