bridesmaids dresses

Does anyone have a suggestion about a elegant/classic dress for different body types

I would start by looking at David's Bridal. They have a large variety of styles and colors, and a wide range of sizes.

Alfred Angelo is another option - they have lots of different styles at a reasonable price point and a lot of places carry that designer.

Start with A-line dresses and try not to get your heart set on a particular dress in case it doesn't work for your bridesmaids.

If their sizes are pretty varied, Alfred Angelo and David's Bridal carry samples in multiple size ranges so that everyone can try something on.  It's a good idea to do this even if you don't plan on purchasing from one of their stores, you can get an idea of which necklines and cuts work for your bridesmaids' body types and which ones don't.  It can be hard to tell what a dress will really look like if the sample size is a 10 and the girls are sizes 4 and 20.

Ditto on Alfred Angelo.  My BM's just got their dresses on Sunday.  We went to the new Alfred Angelo store located in Glen Burnie.  I really liked the store and received good service and they have a sale going on - $20.00 off each BM dress.

Im not a fan of David's Bridal but they do have alot of sizes and colors. I would not recommend to go on a weekend.

For style,  it seems that A-line dresses are in and they usually look good on all body types.  Elegance - I love long bridesmaid dresses.  They do have super cute short and tea length ones but I think a long dress is a little more elegant and classic.  JMO.

Bill Levkoff has a lot of different styles, including lots of A-lins styles in various lengths (cocktail, tea length, full length, etc.).  Bill Levkoff is pretty economical as well, can be found at Gamberdella's in Towson, Francesca's in Overlea, Bridals by Niko on Eastern Ave, and at Betsy Robinson's in the Pikesville area.
