Bachelorette Party

Hey Ladies;
I'm going to post this in baltimore too. I am trying to come up with a fun night for my Bachelorette Party. Originally I was thinking sushi and dancing but I can't come up with a combo of places that is really jumping out at me. Add to that that it's been literally about 7 years since I have been out partying anywhere but my hometown (Westminster) and I am lost. Anyone been to a kick ass bach party in the area? I need fiscally friendly ideas as some of my friends are VERY financially stable and some are REALLY not.

I was thinking of doing dinner and dancing but love other ideas too!
Thanks!

    Its sad there really isn't anywhere good to go anymore for Bachelorette Parties.  I can remember always going to Power Plant in Baltimore for all my friends that got married.  But now the only place worth going to there is Howl at the Moon.  Its a piano bar and the brides usually get to sit on the piano and they will sing a song to you. So thats a fun place to go but its not really big on dancing.

    There is Cancun Cantina by BWI airport.  Its country on one side and dance on the other.  Kind of red neck but its still a good time :)

    hey - i wanted to do something different and fun for my bachelorette party before going out on the town so we did a pole dancing lesson - it was soooo much fun!  we did the class at xpose fitness, they have locations in towson and a few other places.  you can specifically reserve the studio for your own party.  i can't remember, i think it ended up being like 10 or 15 bucks a person.  then we came home to my place, changed, ordered in food, then went out to some bars.  i live in the federal hill area, there are tons of bars all within walking distance of each other which is fun for a bachelorette party.  i've also been to one in canton which is the same - lots of bars in a small radius.

    hope this helps!

    I dont know how wild you girls are but you could always rent a limo, go to a sushi dinner in the Owings Mills or Towson area then go to Xpose Fitness which is in both Towson & Owings Mills (I've only been to the Towson one tho). They have pole dancing/chair dancing classes and they are SUPER fun with a group. I went with my sorority and we were all drinking (which you could do if you have a DD or limo) having fun, and you could learn some new moves haha. Afterwards I would go out to like uptown Towson, Fed Hill  OR you could just plan your party around a live music show in the Baltimore area. Sunday in the Country is right around Columbia, MD and it's an all day music event (only good if you are interested in country music tho!) Some other ideas would be to take a dancing class, go to a wine festival, a rock n bowl (thunderhead bowl in taneytown is my favorite and very close to westminster). Also consider looking into bars and nightlife in York, PA. Hope this helps!!!

    As for a sushi recommendation - I would suggest RA Sushi in Harbor East.  It's a lot of fun, good music, good food.  Also, in Columbia, there's Sushi Sono and Sushi King.  Both are delicious.

    For a night out - you can try Canton, Federal Hill, or Fells Point - they all have a good cluster of bars so you can go bar hopping pretty easily.  Power Plant is fun for dancing too...there's Lucky's Tavern and the one above it (I can't remember the name.  As PP mentioned, Howl at the Moon is great fun!  We went there for a few bachelorette parties and birthdays - always a good time.

    For dancing you could go to Mosaic in the Power Plant complex, I think that they mostly played hip hop and dance versions of popular songs, I had fun there for my bach party.

    Out of all the sushi places listed, I think RA has the best party vibe to it. I'm not sure if the location in Harbor East is still there. I know for sure they have a location in Fells Point though. Although if you're worried about excellent sushi (instead of the fun atmosphere) Chiu's in Harbor East is the best I've had in the city.
