Engaged Encounter/Pre-Cana

We are doing the engaged encounter/pre-cana this weekend.  Is anyone else going as well?  Has anyone done this already?  FI is nervous that it's going to stir up a bunch of stuff, so him being nervous is making me nervous.

We did EE and really enjoyed it!  We aren't Catholic, but we wanted a faith based pre marital counseling program and we felt it really helped.  It WILL stir up things, but that's good!  It'll give you lots to think and talk about and will probably bring you closer as a couple.  My husband and I thought we were the only ones arguing over the weekend, but it turns out everyone did!!  But it was definitely worth it!  Oh...they will probably have you sleep in separate rooms...catholics against pre-marital sex and all...

We just did our Pre-Cana 2 weekends ago, but it was not EE (which we considered).  We did 2 full days at Loyola College, there was about 15 other couples in the class.  It was SO fun.  We both really enjoyed it, and FI is not religious... like, at all.  And he said he really loved it.  It made him change from "wanting" to get married to being really excited to get married to me.  Which I thought was cute.  I was really nervous he was going to hate it.

We did a lot of fun things and activities, our speakers were awesome. 

I hope you guys have the same experience!

Thanks for the input girls!  We stired up something on Wednesday night, and to me thats the worst of it, so hopefully it wont be anything big like that. haha.
