Got the dress!!

Yesterday I bought my dress, making it my first official purchase for my wedding!! Being a budget bride with not-so-budget taste (that's most of us, right?) I got very lucky and found a beautiful Pronovias Sample dress (http://tinyurl.com/y8adtf6) at a HUGE discount at Juliet Bridal. I just want to say that I had a great experience there. They stuck to finding dresses for me in my budget, and there are price tags on every dress, so you don't have to guess, which I really liked.

The only other place I went to look for dresses was Amanda Ritchy Bridal on Bel Air Road, which I beleive is fairly new. Even though I didn't get my dress there I would defintely reccommend them as well. There were very relaxed and very enthusiastic. When I told them I wanted a "vintagey" dress she picked out five dresses that were exactly what I would want, although in the end a little more than I wanted to spend.

Now I'm on to finding a photographer...

I had a great experience with Juliet Bridal also - they were one of the very first places I looked, and though I didn't fall in love with any of their dresses, the people helping out were great.  They definitely didn't have the dress you posted when I was there, because I would have fallen head over heels in love with it.  Do you have any pictures of you in the dress?

Thanks! It's very exciting... and since it's a sample I was able to come home with it, and it's hard not to keep taking peeks at it :-)

I'm going to wear it strapless, and I'm thinking about altering the top into a sweetheart neckline.

So beautiful!  I also got a Pronovias dress.  I'm glad to find someone else who is using the same designer.  Congrats!
