Bridesmaids Dresses

Hi girls! I usually post on the Philly board (where my wedding will be), but I live in Baltimore and need to go look at bridesmaids dresses. I'm hoping you can help me out by suggesting places in the Baltimore/Columbia/White Marsh -ish area. I am specifically looking for Allure Bridesmaids dresses, but I can just call the stores to see if they carry it. We have picked the dress, but the color is still undecided so I need to go back and look at the samples again.

    Gamberdella's (Towson) and Betsy Robinson (Pikesville) carry large lines of bridesmaids dresses.  There's also the Columbia Bridal Boutique.  They also have a large collection.

    They're on Eastern Ave.  I know nothing about this place, but if you're just looking at colors and fabrics what have you got to lose?

    Whatever you do, do not go to M' Jourdelle in Towson.  It's a total nightmare.  I went on Wednseday to get an idea of color and have my bridesmaids try on the dress.  It was a horrible experience and she couldn't even find the style she told me she had or anything by the designer in the color I wanted.  I had a picture of the dress and the style number and she tried telling me that another dress was the dress - even though it looked nothing like it and had a different style number.  The store is a mess and completely unorganized... also no air conditioning.

    Garnish in Mount Washington has a fantastic selection of bm dresses...I can't say enough good things about them.

    We had a horrible experience at Betsy Robinson for bridesmaid dresses.  I had changed my appointment from bridal to bridesmaid because I'd found my dress elsewhere, so maybe the consultant was miffed about that (but I'd called and asked before coming in and they said that would be fine).  And the girl spoke to us once, vanished, walked back by and asked how we made out, and then no one spoke to us as we left the store.  Which, in hindsight, is probably a good thing because I think my stepmother would have had words for them.  I know my FSIL got her wedding dress there and she's had good service, but I would NOT recommend them for bridesmaid dresses.

    Well, I know at least four people who had excellent experiences buying bridesmaid's dresses there, so I would take this with a grain of salt.
