PWG Bridal Show 6/12/11

Hey Everyone!

Just letting everyone know there is a bridal show this Sunday at the Columbus Convention Center from 12p-4p. Is anyone going? Are you taking FI? This will be my first bridal show and I'm excited! Obviously FI is the other half of this affair but I just feel he'll get bored, be a drag, and ruin this experience for me. I don't have any close girlfriends who live in town so I can't really bring along someone else and let him go take a break if he's getting bored. Maybe I'll just promise him ice cream if he's a good boy.

I'm not going because I'm thisclose to being done with it all!!!

But, I wanted to offer a suggestions, set up a wedding email before you go to any show, because you will get lots, and lots, and lots of spam wedding emails.  Better to have it all in one place!

Oh, and FI went to one show with me, he wasn't that bad.  I took FMIL with me to one as well.

I might go since my friend just go engaged Sunday so I'll take her to her first.  Even though I didn't get much other than a ton of flyers at the first 2 I went to.

i was thinking about going with my newly engaged friend. The first bridal show i went to I took my fiance and he was helpful, he asked the questions that i could not remember. But he also did not try to back out becuase I worked night shift the night before and i am always grouchy the next day.

I'm going with my MOH, I just registered today and set up my wedding email earlier   This will be my first show (as a friend or a bride).  We should have our venue booked tomorrow, so now I want to get colors/decor figured out, or at least get some ideas.  FI is colorblind, so he will be of no help in that area!

Another awesome idea is to bring address labels with your name, address, wedding date, and wedding email account on them. No filling out of cards or writers cramp! Just stick and go :-)

Thanks for all the tips ladies. I will definitely create an email account and work on making up labels. I think I got FI a little more excited about it after showing him the advertisements of winning prizes and things that can be applied toward the wedding. I'll probably have him fill out all the info sheets to keep him busy. He also made me promise we won't be there longer than 2 hours. I think I can live with that. Its only my first and my gf's promised they'd come to town for the next one!
