Day 1 Accountability

Well yesterday my FI and I started working out, and we are trying to hold each other accountable. I used to be in really great shape because I took ballet for 12 years.  Then after I stopped doing that I just ate junk and it finally caught up to me! So we are going to work out every night at a set time so we make sure we actually do it. Last night I did the exercise bike for 20 minutes and went 4.15 miles. Then I did some jumping jacks, crunches, and a few little exercises with my small weights. I am VERY sore this morning, but I guess that means it's working! I still need to work on my eating habits... that will be my biggest challenge.

i've been on a serious, doctor-monitored weight loss program for almost two weeks now.
so far in 13 days i've lost 11.7 pounds. i am looking forward to this daily accountability especially as my weight loss slows down (as it should).

I aske my doctor and she told me if I did the supplements it could potentially screw my hormones further inhibiting me from having babies. No worth it to me.

thanks casims! i'm pretty excited about it.

peach, if you do go on any sort of weight loss plan, one of the best things you can do for yourself is to take a multivitamin everyday to replenish your stores of micronutrients. that will most certainly not affect your hormones.

side note - i also take additional b12, digestive enzymes (cuz i have weird guts), L-carnitine and fish oil (omega-3s) because my doc said my body is out of whack with those. just an fyi in case anyone is looking for good supplements.

Always take a multivitamins and if you plan on having kids in the next 3-5 years you could also start taking prenatals! My fiance was weirded out by this but it is important to get the important levels up, like folate and so that is what i told him I would start doing soon! But currently I take a gummy multivitamin it is like my treat of the day.

I have actually lost weight & haven't been to the gym once since we have been back home. I know it is due to all the stress, which isn't good, but its life I suppose. H and I used to go all the time when we lived in GA. Our apt had a decent gym I used nearly everyday. H still has a ways to go as far as his weight goes, but he has started karate and working out on his own again which is good. I know I need to go to the gym again but just can't afford a membership right now and at least I am really active at work all day long. And H and I do take walks when the weather is decent.
