Castle Hill Winery

Ok ladies,

I need some help if you have any info. I am thinking of booking Castle Hill Winery in Versailles for my reception and ceremony. Does anyone have any input about this place? I have not been able to find many reviews but the place is gorgeous and I really like the lady who runs the place. If anyone knows or has heard anything about this winery for weddings please let me know.

    I recently went to a wedding out there. It is absolutely beautiful! I don't how much it was or anything like that, but it's the perfect little spot for a wedding of 100 or less. They had their ceremony outside with the Castle in the background, great for pictures. The reception was held inside and it was set up wonderfully for a small wedding. They had a buffet of finger foods and a DJ to announce all the traditional wedding things, cake cutting, first dance, etc. I'm not sure how big of a guest list you have, but if you're wanting a lot of people and lots of room to dance, you might want to look for another venue. But it is a really beautiful place.

    If you do have a bigger guest list, I booked Talon Winery for my wedding. It's gorgeous as well!

    Did you end up using the place? So far I love the pictures and prices. I just didn't know if anyone had any other input on it.

    I had my wedding there this past May.  I booked their venue a little over a year before.  I am so happy with how everything turned out.  I think I called Kim 1000 times over the course of the year and she was so prompt in returning calls and emails.  I texted her at 1:00 a.m. once and she texted me right back.  The place is beautiful!  The banquet room seats 300.  My wedding guest list was for 280 and there was plenty of space.  THey have large patios and big doors to the banquet room. You can do the indoor/outdoor thing if you want.
    They give you plenty of time to have a reception and to decorate and they don't charge you for that time.  The bartenders and staff are really friendly.  THe night of my wedding the bartenders let everyone taste wines for fun and they kept clowning around with my guests.  Kim worked with me the entire year and she was always extremely pleasant and helpful. She gave me lots of ideas that helped me get organized.  I cant say enough good things about having a wedding at Castle Hill winery.  I would book there again.  I hope this helps you make your decision.  Jill
