I need to find things in Richmond, Help!

I am looking for a wedding site and reception site in or near Richmond, this is where my fiance and I met and spent most of our time. We are looking to have a fall or winter wedding so I'm thinking an indoor area is going to be the best, but if there are some good outdoor wedding ideas out there throw 'em at me. I'm willing to look at almost anything!

    Oh and if you guys know of anywhere around Clays Ferry that would be cool too. Such pretty scenery up there!

    Here is a pretty extensive list of venues.  Several are in the Richmond area.

    The Bull golf course has a space, but when I was looking they never responded to any of my calls/emails.

    Also, Arlington Country Club is beautiful but it was out of my budget.  GL.

    We were going to use Battlefield park, but they are closing in January for improvements.  I looked into the Bull golf course, but it was expensive and you have to use their catering.

    I am looking at the Heritage House, it's a BNB. Jenny Stephens, the owner emailed me back today and the cost is $1200 for the reception and ceremony, which I think is a pretty good deal. She also caters, however I do not know much about that. I plan on booking a tour with her soon and I can provide more information soon! :]

    My budget is $3500, so I definitely know how hard it is to find a reasonable venue!

    I'm getting married at White Hall State Historic Site off exit 95. It comes with nothing, but I like that, so I can do everything the way I want. We get the outside area only, no going in the house, etc. It is BEAUTIFUL there.
