Please Help

Please answer the following questions....I'll explain the goal later, but this will be really fun in the end.  I posted this on the Budget Board, but didn't receive a very warm welcome.  Maybe it will be better to do this locally....

When is your wedding date?

What are your wedding colors?

Would you alter them in order to save money?

Are you struggling to stay on a budget and still create the day you invision?

What items are you omitting that you'd really like to have, but cannot afford?

Thanks in advance for answering these questions.  Laughing

All, I talked with tigger off the board, and her motives are good.  Nothing vendor-ish, not research.  Curiosity combined with generosity.

    July 17th...

Deep purple (David's Bridal calls it Lapis), other purples, greens, and a bit of blue...

Alter?  Well, the girl's dresses are already ordered, but as for the others, yes...

    Budget?  YEP.

Items? either a cool candy buffet or Hershey's bars with our picture; the budget to extend our reception past the 4-hour time limit, Welcome Bags for our out of town guests, not driving from the wedding to the reception in a pick-up, paying for my bridesmaids to get their hair done, cool centerpieces instead of the free ones that the hall lets us use.

Will we still end up married at the end of the day without these things? yes.  Is it fun to dream? Absolutely.

Good luck with your project--I hope others respond!

    Pink and White

No, unless it was a significant amount of money.

Not really. Right now, I'm about right on budget.

I think I managed to squeeze everything in that I really want. I would like to spend more on the honeymoon, I guess.

Blue, but I haven't decided what shade of blue

    yes

    Budget is always the issue!

I'd like to have a live band and tons of flowers, but that may not happen
