Looking for a venue....

I am in the beginning stages of planning my wedding, and I am searching for the perfect venue! I love the idea of an outside wedding, but I am afraid of weather complications. I am open to other ideas, I just do not want to have the ceremony in a church. Does anyone know of any good locations for the ceremony and reception in either the Louisville or Northern Kentucky area?

    How many people and what's your budget?  St. James Court can be rented for an outdoor ceremony and then my friend who got married there had the reception indoors at the Conrad-Caldwell House.  The Water Tower has an outdoor area, Locust Grove, Peterson-Dumesnil House, Yew Dell, and Tom Sawyer are other possibilites.  I've always wondered if you could have a wedding at Blackacre Nature Preserve.  I bet it would be pretty!

    It will be around 75 people, and we are hoping to stay under $10K. Thanks for the suggestions!

    Blackacre Nature preserve has weddings now.
    Try Buffalo Trace in Frankfort
