Columbus Wedding 2013 Venue HELP!

My fiance and I just had to change our wedding plans from a small beach wedding to a larger wedding in Columbus, OH next September. We're having trouble finding something that fits our budget, and the style we are looking for. We are looking for a venue that is fairly causual and can hold up to 150 people. We would like to be able to bring in our own food and alcohol just because the all inclusive venues are really out of our price range. The few places that we have found that would be a perfect fit are all booked up... HELP!

The places I came across that allowed you to bring in your own food and drink were The Olde Gahanna Sanctuary, The Vault, Valleydale, and the big room. The Vault and Valleydale DO charge a fee to serve drinks though.

I didn't look at the Arlington swim and racquet club or the clintonville women's center but I believe they work on similar terms.

Ok thanks! I emailed The Vault this morning, I just haven't heard back from them yet. The big room was a little out of our price range, but I will def. check out the others.. Thanks!

Our maxiumum is $10,000... but we're really trying to stay below that line..

were getting married at cheers and lakeside chalet in Lancaster, they cater but were having around 80-90 people and with food, venue, decorations, and a few other things its around $5000. they let you buy your own liquor, but beer and wine have to be bought through them... were just doing one or two bottles per table... and the cheers building holds around 150-200 people and its beautiful!

my friend before deciding to do destination wedding was interested in the Audubon Center - I know they allow you to choose from their list of caterers and bring in your own drinks...

Have you checked into the North Bank Pavilion? Saturdays can get booked up quick, but if you've got some flexibility, it might be a good choice. We weren't able to get the Saturday we wanted, but decided to go with a Friday night that was available because we liked it so much. They also allow outside food and alcohol. Good luck!
