I'd prefer to stay in the states...

where are you going for your honeymoon.. looking for something not horribly far away but South Carolina and North carolina is awesome.. dont know where to go.

We are doing the exotic thing..looking at Zanzibar or Thailand right now.

As for US destinations, Oregon and Washington wine country is fantastic!

I love going to Hilton Head Island in SC. It's so beautiful and not unbearably far.

My fiance loves the gulf coast in Alabama. I haven't been there, but he thinks it's amazing. I think Charleston SC and the surrounding area would make a great honeymoon, I love the area. Have you looked into someplace like Galveston, TX? 

We're going to Mexico, probably in the Maya Riviera area. agadez822- If you're looking exotic, I cannot recommend Vietnam and India enough. Seriously, look into Hoi An in Vietnam and Kerela in India.

Does it need to be within driving distance?  If not, we did San Francisco and Napa Valley for ours, and it was awesome!

Savannah, GA. Or maybe the florida Keys? I don't know how you are for road trips but it could be cool to drive down from Miami to key west!
