I know the etiquette for sending Save the Dates is usually 6-9 months but given that our wedding date is for Dec 21st (very close to Christmas) I'm thinking about sending them out in January so people have time to plan, or rather not plan, for Christmas parties etc.
We have a great deal of guests coming in for the wedding from out of state and from across the state, so arranging flights and travel plans is important.
Am I crazy to send them out almost a year in advance?
