Missouri-St Louis

St. Louis brides, I need some help please.

Hello St. Louis brides! Our wedding was originally supposed to take place in Houston, Texas. Some things have come up however, and now it looks like we are getting married in St. Louis. Unfortunately, I have been collecting vendor reviews for vendors in the Houston area. Therefore, if possible, can I possibly get vendor reviews and recs for the St. Louis area?Thank you!

I haven't had my wedding yet and can't really give any true vendor reviews, but I wanted to recommend also checking out the website stlwed dot com.  It's another forum for St. Louis brides.  Good luck!

What vendors? Are you familiar with STL at all? Od you want downtown? County? Price point? Ditto PP on stlwed dot com--that is SUPER SUPER helpful

My wedding is in October but I can recommend our photographer, entertainment and bridal shop.   Photographer - Kelly Pratt Photography (love my engagement photos) Entertainment - Jive and Wail (dueling pianos) Bridal Shop - Karen's wedding boutique   Hope that helps

Just got married in June... what vendors are you looking for? And in what area? I'll have all my vendor reviews posted in my bio soon as well.

Thank you ladies very, very much.To answer the question about which vendors, the answer would simply be all of them. Photographer, baker, florist... basically everything. I will check out this other website. Again, I appreciate it.

I was in my friend's wedding in May. Her wedding was in Cape Girardeau, but her photographers were from St. Louis. They were fun to work with and the photos turned out great. I plan on using them for my wedding. Their website is www.stl-photographer.com The best part is their rates are a lot lower than many others in St. Louis, that is another reason I plan on using them.

Try contacting Victoria Cripps for flowers.  She doesn't have a store front to maintain so she is able to offer lower costs!vfcripps@sbcglobal.netHere is a link to some of her work: http://flickr.com/gp/cryptcandy/5B7840

My husband and I got married last January, so here's my advice on St. Louis vendors... I loved my florists, Sisters Flowers (http://www.sistersflowers.net/). I had a pretty modest budget, which I told them about up front, and they worked with me to create beautiful flowers. They were very reliable, professional, and friendly. Not sure if you're looking for a Catholic church, but our wedding was at St. Francis Xavier on SLU's campus, and then we had our reception immediately after in their ballroom. St. Francis was pretty strict about how you could do things, but we were there for sentimental reasons. Russo's does all the catering at the ballroom (http://www.russosgourmet.com/), and they also have two other locations. I can't recommend Russo's enough. The food is really good, and not just really-good-for-a-wedding-buffet good. I had guests tell me the cake was the best wedding cake they have ever had. Russo's has a ton of experience and I can't tell you how much stress they took off my shoulders. They handle everything for you. It was worth paying more than I expected.I got my dress at Clarice's (www.claricesbridal.com), which isn't the fanciest, chicest shop in town. But, I found my dress for $150 less than anywhere else.Alterations done by a wonderful woman named Jeanette Chaloupecky, you can get her # from Clarice's. Waaaaaaaay cheaper, faster, better work than David's, and you can play with her German Shephards at her house.Hope some of this helps.
