Fun and contemporary wedding band?

Ok, so I'm looking for someone who plays more contemporary, yet classy music for my reception in March. I was looking at Nikko Smith (Ozzie Smith's son, Amer. Idol finalist) because he's in the Stl area and I heard he was doing weddings now. I like his style, and he seems like he would keep people on their feet or at least a groove in the room. Does anyone know anything about him?

Ah! I loved him on Idol... too bad I already booked my band :(  Just kidding I'm really happy with them. Out of curiosity though, how expensive do you think it would be to have an idol finalist at your wedding?

We talked about 5 grand, and I think I'm going to do it. It's going to be worth it. You should check out his site with the agency I'm booking him with. I know you said you already got your band, but there's video of him doing wedding stuff on there (he sounds great!), so if you're a fan you might find that interesting. For anyone else reading, this site is good because it has other stl wedding bands on there too like groovethang and ralph butler (we looked at those two as well, but I WANT NIKKO haha).http://www.talentplus-artists.com/?name=nikkosmith^this is his booking site and the site that has the other bands we liked too

You go girl. That sounds resonable to me! Plus, you'll have a blast at your reception, and that's priceless :) Best of luck on everything else!
