Affordable Wedding Receptions in STL

I'm looking for a reception site for around 150 people that runs under $45 per person. I have looked at most of the St. Louis bridal magazines and online, but am wondering if there are some I am missing. Thanks ladies!

Do you have a specific area of town that you are interested in?

Does the $45 include tax and gratuity?

We are planning our wedding at Spazio's at Westport. They have a bridal package that includes either buffet, seated or stations dinner, as well as 4-hour open bar, passed appetizers, and your wedding cake. The prices depend on the dinner service, but you can have buffet or seated dinner for $40.95 each if you have over 100 guests. We are having over 200 guests so the price per person drops even more then... Not sure that area works for you, but if so, look into it. I'm working with Katie and she is really awesome!

Where have you already looked and what area of town? Places like Andre's, Andre's West, Royale Orleans tend to be under that price point

I agree with the previous poster about Andres. Andres West was absolutely beautiful and Andres South is really nice too!

We're having our reception at The Edge of Webster in Webster Groves.  It only has a $700 rental fee and you can bring in any caterer you want for food.  For us, that helped to keep the costs where we needed.

I'm having mine at Orlando Gardens in Maryland Heights.  It's really nice and they have a few other locations.

There is a place in the Hill neighborhood called Rose on the Hill. It included a lot and was fairly cheap. You could also try Hendri's which is in the South City area. Those were two of the cheaper places I checked out when I was scoping out venues a few months ago.

Thanks everyone! We are getting married in South City so anywhere not too far from there. We actually may have made a decision this weekend on The Schlafly Tap Room. Thanks though!

Before you book the Tap Room, make sure you check out SqWires and talk to the Owner, Bethany.  Here is her email address: bethanybudde@me.comThe Annex is a pretty cool looking space and they will customize the menu and work within you budget.  When I inquired with her she threw in a ton of stuff and offered a substantial discount.  You will get your money's worth if you tell her exactly what you want.  You can have your reception at Tower Grove park nearby and they will organize that too.

Holiday Inn in Eureka is WONDERFUL!  They are 46.00 a person at most and that includes a 4 hour bar, DJ for 5 hours, color matched centerpieces, cake, bridal suite for the wedding night, and Adrienne the on-site coordinator is great!
