Bridesmaid Dresses

Where are good places to go to in the St.Louis/Illinois area to look for Bridesmaid dresses.  I've looked at Clarice's where I got my Bridal gown from, but I didn't see any there I really liked.  Any help would be great :)...thanks ladies.

Well, I know a lot of people don't like them, but my bridesmaids got theirs from David's Bridal. They have a pretty big selection and aren't terribly expensive.

I was actually really opposed to doing David's Bridal but since none of my bridesmaids were from the Saint Louis area we decided it was the best option. I found a really cute strapless dress that's a great chiffon material (I hate their traditional satiny bridesmaid material) that was an online only. We just got a couple in and they are beautiful. On the plus side too, if you are doing color in your groomsmen's tuxes David's works with Men's Wearhouse so you can get the vest and tie in the same color as the dresses. If you really don't want to do that and your bridesmaids have a little more to spend you could always look at J Crew or Ann Taylor. They have bridesmaids dresses that are more stylish, they just don't have a huge selection in terms of color.

I have to say I was quite opposed to davids bridal as well, but after going to the wedding gallery, only to pick dresses that I was told one price for and the girls were quoted anywhere from 150.00 to 200.00 more when the went to go order.........due to girls being tall or larger, we went to DB and i had a great experience. We got dresses that were somewhat similar to the original ones that we found and the price was great. I didn't have the best experience the first time I went to davids bridal which was the one in sunset hills. I had a great experience with the DB in st. peters. I would actually suggest them. Good Luck!

We havent made a final decision yet, but they will most likely be comming from Robins also. Great experience, good prices, pretty dresses.

After looking everywhere for dresses, I ran across a site called bestbridalprices.com, which has hundreds and hundreds of dresses at great prices.  They have an actual store in Godfrey, IL called Carol Fewes or something like that.  We went there last weekend and the people were so fantastic.  So helpful, friendly, and just overall great.

I LOVE Karen's Bridal Boutique.  The owner, Betty, and her mom are the absolute best!
