Ceremony Music- Columbus Musicians: A

I didn’t really get to hear most of the prelude and ceremony music because I wasn’t out there, but everyone said that Columbus Musicians was great. We chose a string trio from this company. We decided to go with this company because they play some classic rock instead of just the classical music. Our ceremony actually consisted of entirely Beatles music which we loved. Everything that I heard sounded great, and the communication with the company was always timely.

Cake Pops- Cake Pops by Kristen: A

I ordered Cake Pops for the rehearsal dinner to supplement the cupcakes. Everyone loved them! Kristen is out of Grove City, and she makes the cake pops out of her home. She hasn’t been in business for very long, but I got a lot of compliments. Here is her information: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Cake-Pops-by-Kristen/231032230240510

Tuxes- Jos A Bank: C-

We had the WORST time with Jos A Bank! We started at the store at Easton. They were TERRIBLE. They lost my dad and brothers measurements 3 times, so they kept having to go back and get re-measured. They also messed up by husbands measurements and he had to get new pants the day of the wedding. Everyone else’s pants were also too big to the point that some of them had to wear suspenders just to keep them up! We ended up switching to the Polaris Jos A Bank instead. The people at the Polaris location were much nicer, but we still had the measurements problem. We couldn’t switch companies because we needed the tan tuxes, and I couldn’t find them anywhere else. If you can avoid dealing with these people, I would do so if at all possible!

Dress & Bridesmaid Dresses- David’s Bridal on Sawmill: B+

I was actually probably one of the only people that actually had a good experience at David’s Bridal. I had gone to every store in Columbus and nearby, and I could not find hardly any dresses that were lace to try on! So, I decided to go to David’s to see if they had anything even though I did not want to get my dress there. What do you know, I ended up finding a lace one there that I loved. So, while the overall “special bride dress shopping experience” at David’s was not great, they actually had what I wanted which was good! We also got the bridesmaid dresses there, and everything with the BM dresses worked out great. They even let us exchange a dress when one of my girls lost some weight. Overall great experience, just don’t have too high of expectations for the “shopping experience”.

Flowers- Flowers on Springtree Lane: A

The flowers turned out beautiful! I could not be happier. I met with about 6 different florists before I decided, and I ended up going with FOSL because they were MUCH cheaper than anyone else I met with. They have great ideas, and everything that they did turned out beautifully. They are the nicest ladies, and I would definitely recommend them if you are trying to stick to a budget on flowers!
