Wild Irish Rose Photography

Has anyone used them recently for their wedding photos?  The price seems great and the online pics look good, but I was wanting some firsthand knowledge.  Thanks in advance!!

Thought so too!  Read on her blog how at least at one point she was really backed up because of some personal issues (that was dated Dec 6).  Hope that's all resolved and no longer an issue! On the vendor recs post (top of page), a bride used her and was thrilled -- that's where I got her name as a matter of fact!  Interested to see what others think...

I spoke with her last night and she seemed super sweet and energetic.  I think I'm going to go with my gut-feeling here and just go for it.  Wish me luck!

Let me say in advance I'm not one to give bad reviews, but I was going to use her and we signed a contract with her but because of her personal issues she missed my engagement shoot. We didn't hear from her she just said she would be there and never came. We tried to contact her and didn't hear back for a couple days. We ended up getting our money back and going with Fenwick Photography. If she has cleared up her issues it might be ok to try, but be warned that she doesn't email back quickly and make sure she comes through for you no matter what is going on that day for her. I hope this helps.

Okay, so I am not sure what was going on for Rachel's engagement pictures...that would have totally sucked!!!

But, I met with her and was really impressed with her work and enjoyed her as a person.  We didn't end up booking because we went with a lower priced photographer that we liked just as well.  But, she is really great and I would recommend her.  I don't know what has gone on in her life recently, but I do know that in her wedding contract she states that she will ensure someone is there for the wedding day even if she would become deathly ill or something like that.

If she has her personal issues resolved, I think she is a great photographer and does know the value of dependability.

We had met with her and then heard from our friend that her friend had a very similar story to Rachel's. It could have been Rachel that she was talking about..but that made me nervous. We ended up booking with i Kandi Photography and couldnt have been happier. Just do alot of reviews before booking. That story does not sound very professional =(

So disappointed!!  Well, or holding my breath...
I emailed her 12 days ago and have not heard a word back:-/  Saran04, did it take her long to get back to you?  Or did you call directly?  It's a red flag for me, but her work is really awesome and within our price range :-/  Tough call.

That stinks, when I spoke to her she was very prompt!  She has an FB page, it might be worth checking if she has anything posted there.

Hhhmmm, I looked around, I have no idea what is up with her.  She did mention that she is getting married and that could be a distraction.  But, after meeting her, I am seriously stunned to hear that she is not being professional!  I am no help, but really shocked!

She is not the quickest about returning phone calls, however, she does communicate well with email.  I have decided to go with another photographer though after some serious thought.  My fiance' and one of my bridesmaids (who is a photographer) were not really all that impressed with her work and were blown away that she posted her personal info. on her website blog.  When it came down to it, I just couldn't bear the thought of her not showing up for a shoot.  I think I will be going with livelaughlovefotography now.  Best of luck knotties!

I asked for a consult with her and she wasn't going to be able to fit me in for 3 weeks! That's like an eternity when you're planning and wanting to book a photographer before someone else gets to them first!  Needless to say, went with someone else -- who responds uber-fast and has been such a joy to work with thus far: Jeremy at Your Story, btw.
