Anyone going to the Wedding Show at America's Center tomorrow?

Taking MetroLink down since I live about 6 blocks from the Delmar Loop Station (Like I want to spend $30 in parking! lol)

We went!  It was pretty fun!! Found out DJ, Travel Agent, and ate LOTS of cake!! (Even though we already booked it!! hahaha)

Got there early and got the $600 GC for the wedding bands, and ordered FI's band after we got home.  It's such a great deal!!!!!!!!  

Did have a bad run-in with one DJ there.  He was a pompous douchebag!!!!

Most of them are, unfortunately.  We're going small so we're just going to IPod it....who needs some guy in a bad tux spouting off cheesy one liners! lol

We went, got to meet some of the event staff for our reception site which is nice (most of our contact has been over the phone)  and yes, trying all the fooooooood!  My  Mignon of Honor (hehehe...seriously, thats we've been calling her! lol) had a blast...I had to keep her from trying to steal one of the tux models at the fashion show! lol 

I got the GC also, but once I looked at the site, I wasn't really that impressed.(He really wants a hammered finish ring)  I have a cousin that is getting married in September. A (VERY) small town wedding so they're not having a long engagement and I know that they would probably love the rings so I think I'm going to give it to them.

All in all, a great day!  Anyone going to th Brides Against BReast Cancer sale next weekend?   Now that I have a dress, I'm hoping to get my hands on a sparkly headband and maybe a pair of shoes that won't set me back $300!
