The Viking - Holiday Inn

Has anyone held their reception at The Viking at the Holiday Inn in Suset Hills?  Any information about cost, quality, experiences would be most appreciated!!

I have been in a wedding that was at the Viking, but it was a while ago...  It was not very expensive and I think a lot of stuff was included-DJ, cake, ice carving.  Hope that helps!

Depending on plate choice, I think the range was $45-55 a person. That included tax & gratuity, and was for a five hour reception: food, open bar, DJ, cake, china & linens, etc.
I got info pretty quickly just from searching via theknot's local vendor thing and requesting info, but the person who emailed me back was at margie.bolle@hiviking.com

I am having mine at the Holiday Inn in South County (about10 minutes further south) off lindbergh.

I looked into the Viking BUT it was cheaper at the holiday inn in SO CO.

WE did buffet (which is a more expensixe option then a seated meal) and I think we are paying about 39 pp
this includes 5hr reception
4 hour open bar
DJ
Cake-through wedding wonderland
Ice sculpture
champagne toast for all guests
centerpieces
raised head table
lighted head table and cake table

The Viking was about 5-10$ more pp if I remember correctly
