We are having our ceremony at WFP on 9.24.11!! Has anyone ever had their wedding or been to a wedding their? I need some thoughts and ideas for the space!!

    I worked an event there for my employer. My employer had couches around the outskirts in white leather and tables in the middle. It was BEAUTIFUL!

    We're also planning a ceremony for Sept 2011 at WFP. Congrats! As we were riding bikes through Forest Park this past summer, we saw a wedding happening at WFP. It was a smaller wedding and they had chairs lined up facing the park using the width as opposed to the length. 

    They used an ipod for the ceremony music, which was easy to hear because of the acoustics. They had Grand Rental Station waiting to clean up the chairs and I saw that they waited out of the view of the wedding so you couldn't hear the engine idling. Afterward, the guests were picked up by a bus to be taken to the reception.

    I didn't attend this wedding. We were just watching from a distance in the park.

    I'm not sure if this will help you or not, but you reminded me of a wedding I saw a while back here on a photographer's blog.  It looks like they had their ceremony kind of overlooking the fountains?  Probably not much help, but I thought I'd share!
