New or used doesn't matter but it cannot have been altered in length (I'm the Jolly Green Giant, I at least want it to cover my knees!) 

Ther has to be SOMEONE in STL who likes tea length gowns as much as I do!

I LOVE THIS DRESS!!!!!  I ended up going with a different one, but I love this one!!!!  Have you tried ebay?  Or anything like that??

I've looked everywhere!  The gown has been out for a year...you'd think SOMEONE would have it! lol

I don't know about the asian importers, though. I've heard alot of REALLY bad horror stories.  Have you used any of them?

I haven't, but I did see that two of them have very clear exchange and return policies.  And, quite frankly, that is who probably ships them to David's...haha  I found one listing that was someone selling a dress, only asking $250, but it was already sold.  So, I would try my luck with the sale websites and return if unhappy...or keep watching for a personal sale.  I found that one, so if you watch like daily, you might find one before it sells.....hhhmmmm

I can't find that exact dress, but would you consider shortening one like this:

The dress is still available at David's but $500 is ALOT to spend on a dress when your overall budget is $3,000 tops. (Small affair, 25-30 people)  Granted, it looks like everything is going to come in well under budget, but $500 is still alot to spend.  I'm really hoping I can get my hands on it used...save money and help someone get part of their money back.

I have time (not until June) but I work for an airline so you have to consider that I'm only in the area for short periods of time. *sigh*
