Andres West?

I am getting ready to sign with WOW for my reception, but came across Andres West as a much cheaper option.  I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on either venue.  I have heard mostly postive about WOW, but nothing about Andres.

I have been to weddings at both venues.

I like WOW because of the space and the food is better IMO.  They also have lots to do around there after the wedding, and a shuttle that will run between hotels if you have lots of OOT guests.

I like Andre's because it is closer to the county, where I lived.  There is plenty of parking, but nowhere to go out afterward.

I dislike both because there are multiple weddings going on at the same time in each venue.

Overall, I voted WOW because Andre's is always super crowded, and there are usually bathroom lines and if you do a buffet you delay your dancing and depending on the amount of time that you have for the reception, the set up/ take down can be an issue.  At WOW there's lots of space to hang out, eat, drink, do whatever, and the staff there is much nicer.

I've stated this before.  I can't stand WOW.  Guests have to drive up an alley with dumpsters to get to the parking lot, long lines for the elevators, shuttles, and the restrooms are filthy within minutes of arriving due to all the receptions going on at the same time.  The food is over-priced okay.  The accoustics are terrible -- bands are too loud due to the cement floors; you can't hear and you can't talk.  Make sure you don't put your drink down -- it's gone within the blink of an eye and you have to stand in line again to get another one.  The view is nice.  That's it.  A lot of money for less than mediocre.

I loved andre's west!  Out of all Andre's facilities, it's the most gorgeous!  but beware, they only rent it out if you have 200+ guests.  That's a requirement.  They wouldn't even consider us because we only have 125

I can't say anything about WOW because I have never been there, however Andre's West is nice in that there is only one event taking place at a time so you get the whole place to yourself. Like the previous post stated they due require you to commit to 200 guests.

My FI's brother just got married in June and the reception was at Andre's West.

It was lovely. The food was good, the music was good, and the facility itself was wonderful. Parking was no problem, and I really liked that theirs was the only reception at this facility.

I have no complaints about this place, and would highly recommend it to any bride looking at having their reception there. :)

I am having my reception with Andres South, I LOVE THEM! They are so professional, inexpensive, and friendly. Not to mention, the food and service you get is AMAZING for the price. The locations are beautiful.

Not to mention, my dad had his reception at Andres 20 years ago (thats what made me look into them...and according to him, they were wonderful)
