Suggested sites for E-pics

Does anyone have any good recommendations on places to take engagement pictures in STL?

I don't have an answer, but I was wondering about this myself...my e-pics are in two weeks, and my photographer is not from here (and my fi and I just moved). We were thinking the Botannical Garden and Forest Park, but were wondering if there were any indoor places, in case it's looking too dead outside.

Do you want indoor or outdoor, urban or general, contemporary or classic?

I can make suggestions but need more info.

I would suggest the City Museum!

Tower Grove Park by the Piper Palm House... There is a nice stone structure by the pond. I was out there in early October and they still had colorful flowers out there.
Maybe for an inside shoot, Union Station?
I've also heard good things about the City Museum.

Try Washington Ave- Flamingo Bowl, Rooster, Copia (if it has reopened), the Dubliner, lots of boutique windows and the lobby of boutique hotels would all fit the request.

These are all great suggestions.  Copia has reopened, and from walking by the other night, it looks really nice.  I would also add Moonrise Hotel in the Loop as an option. http://www.moonrisehotel.com/

We had our pics taken inside the Jewel Box (and a few outside) cause it was raining.  Just an FYI about the Botanical Gardens - you now have to have a membership to shoot there.

What exactly are you looking for?

Classic St. Louis would be Forest Park and the Jewel Box, or the Botanical Gardens.

For more modern pictures, I'd take a stroll to outside of the old Science Center- there are tons of brightly colored exhibits and toys outside.

I'd also maybe walk around the Central West End- there is beautiful architecture, fun fountains, and you're just a hop from the Park.

We went to old town st. charles because I wanted a romantic feel.  We're going back when it snows to get some dreamy pics!
